Loren Grush . . . Great report. "Americans Heading Back to the Moon?"
Loren Grush. So young (and pretty). And a great science reporter! I like that she started off as an entertainment reporter and switched to hard news. Her FoxNews articles can be found at http://www.foxnews.com/contributor/loren-grush/index.html

Emmy Lou Harris at SXSW on NPR 2011
I used to love going to SXSW. I didn't see the lineup, and NPR had everything but the blues. But they had this gem by Emmy Lou Harris. I remember seeing Emmy Lou Harris with James Taylor in Chicago in the 1980's. It was outside at Washington Park on the southside. She came on stage just at sunset. Her hair was blowing in the breeze and James Taylor and Emmy Lou just created magic on the stage. Later that evening, James played "Lighthouse" and then pointed up at the sky just as a satellite (Skylab?) was orbiting overhead. We all looked up to that treat. It fit in perfectly with the music. I also remember his light show, and right when he sang, "deep green and blues are the colors I choose" in Sweet Baby James, of course right then the stage was lit by green then by blue lights. Beautiful. It's funny how 25 years later the memories are still there.
